You are totally misinformed or you are a blind iFanboy. As per a story on Appleinsider today, Android web share is actually higher than that of iPhone.
You're comparing an OS (Android) with a device (iPhone 4). What you failed to point out in that same article is this:
"So while the entire Android platform with all of their partners, models, phones and tablets has outgrown the single iPhone 4 by 40.98% to 30.35% the past 4 months, iPad is outgrowing the entire Android ecosystem so significantly [that] it more than makes up for the iPhone deficiency plus some. And it just launched 3 weeks ago and millions of people who want them can't get their hands on them yet."
And: "A report from February indicated that Apple continues to own 82.7 percent of all mobile software sales with its iOS App Store".
Competition is good!

I just had my 5G iPod replaced about a month ago. This iPod is one of the newer iPods that just came out.
I have followed the Apple instructions to not use the equalizer, low light resolution, and try not to manuever the menus too much while playing the video, and that is what gets me to about 1:45 minutes.
I use my iPod daily (M-F), and I charge it daily (M-F). I think the high usage is also the reason why my battery life is so low.
But isn't the iPod made for this type of usage???
Your battery should last at least a year or so with that usage (my 3g did), 1:45 is too low (sounds like my 5G iPod) you should send it back to Apple, btw what's the audio battery life like?

A friend took the photo
Excellent photo of Toronto lakeshore skyline with CNTower near harbourfront.
Will your friend be willing to share the original to a fellow Toronto native, please?

Any way to update and still have the phone keep tracking me everywhere. I like to stay updated but I do not want to lose that feature.

While many will disagree with my point of view, I think this is just more evidence that Apple and Google with be the 2 major players duking it out. The one that should really worry here is not Apple but RIM. On the bright side, this will just force both iOS and Android to get better and better as they compete with each other. Both platforms have come a long way I can't way for the next smackdown! Now on with the endless forum wars! Let's the the usual blood I have come to know and love in Macrumors! :D

I don't care if it's hard to read most of the stuff on the desktop. The pic is just nice to look at :) http://interfacelift.com/wallpaper_beta/details/2281/lincoln/'s_revenge.html
Anne has certainly cropped up on my radar as of the last few days too.
Also, ignore the song Bowtie says is playing. I'm not listening to that.

So the answer, in your mind, is to take the poor example of another country in order to justify the same behavior in your own? ... the lure of oppression can sometimes be a siren song that lures the weak to its attractive melody.
You got owned, citizenzen, and there's no rhetorical question, or ad hominem attack, or sidestep you can take to get out from under it.
This all started when you huffed the following challenge:
 Show me the laws that force a dress code on foreign visitors.
Mac'nCheese accepted your challenge:
You mean when female troops from other countries are "encouraged" to cover up while serving in Muslim countries?
You then chose to ratchet up The Needless Condescension Meter vis-a-vis a red herring debate on the difference between the terms "encourage" and "outlaw":
Sorry that subtle difference is lost on you. Maybe a definition might help ...Maybe it's just me ... and the dictionary ... but those two words don't seem to mean the same thing at all.
Mac'nCheese then called you on asserting he had assimilated "encourage" and "outlaw." So, you again ratchet the snark and "ask":
So what point were you failing to make?

So I'd have to have an external CD drive to play all my games, install my software, go through my backups and import my new music into iTunes?
Oh dear Apple, for the love of god, do not even attempt to axe the CD drive. Please.
I don't think they've had a CD drive nor has anyone distributed anything on CD for 10 years.
The phrase you're looking for is DVD. Get into the 90s!

It's funny, but wherever I go, I always see people with iPhones. My train, on plane trips between Chicago and NYC, during meetings, etc. I am amazed the number is only 5% - but I guess it's the circles that I am in.
That's because many of them are using the iPhone for purposes other than calls (emails, games, etc). Basic phones are in the pockets of their users when they're not on the phone.

I swear to God, I hope iDVD isn't gone completely but more integrated into iMovie or something along those lines. iDVD is one of my favorite applications in the iLife suite.
The 64-bit rewrite thing is pretty awesome though. Hopefully iTunes will be a part of that (doubt it though).
Agreed. The transition to 64-bit is long overdue and iDVD is a great application.

First the iPad is coming out with 2 revisions in then only one revision, then the iPhone5 is not coming out in June 2011 but in September then it is coming out again in June and then it is not coming out at all in 2011. Tell you what, I will believe it when I see it. Everyone and his sister knows someone who has a friend that is informed on the matter and loves to make news about Apple products to get some publicity. IMO most of these rumors seem very inconsistent with Apple's way of doing things. Would they really come out with 2 iPad versions in 2011 when they can hardly make enough to keep up with demand?

Now that I got my Quad fixed(it's only been running as a dual 2.5). I'm thinking of selling it and building a i7 computer with at least one or two GTX295 or 480. Haven't decided on which one I really want to set up first.
I did notice that it seems like F@H is only using one core. It's utilizing 100% though on one core then switches to another. Anyway to get all 4 cores fully running? Maybe I'll just use the G5 a bit longer if it can bring out some good numbers.
i'm really not sure about the ppc client. but i don't think you can use all 4 cores, unless you run 4 clients

As soon as I read that dudes response, I just knew some anal-retentive types would come along and bust on the guys sentence structure, punctuation, or some other such thing.
Holy Christ, people.. get a life.
Dude is posting on a blog, not submitting an entry into Encyclopedia Britannica.
Are you kidding me? Have you read some of the entries in the Encyclopedia Britannica? ;)

Nym: No offence, but I am pretty sure that NOT ONE of the US founders was a Catholic. THere were some deists, most were Anglican, maybe a few Quakers, maybe a few Calvinists and what would later be called Baptists. Several agnostics/atheists. Being Catholic was not in fashion at the time of the US revolution...
No offense taken of course :)
By the way, I deleted my post when you said it offended you, I'm not here to offend anyone, I was just in a rush leaving work and didn't had the time to check if what I'd written could cause some susceptibilities.
Apparently it did so I removed it.

A phone makes sense as it is fast becoming the digital center of our mobile lives. I just hope it has PDA functions built in. I hate carrying around more than one gadget in my pocket.
